Three Over Aces
About
York is missing. The cartel knows. The government’s involved. Nowhere is safe.
Outgunned on foreign soil, nowhere is safe as York, Theresa, and William find themselves pitted against the ruthless Aces—brothers with a reputation for violence. But emotions run as high as the adrenaline when what happens between the sheets starts to affect their focus, leaving them more vulnerable than they realize.
When the Aces turn the tables on York, he finds himself in a dark place he’s not sure he can come back from—and he’s willing to kill everyone, pay any price, even sell his soul to the devil himself, if it will take away the pain.
Caught between the two men who destroyed her life as a Raven, not even the world burning down around her can stop Theresa from falling for them—both of them. All she wants now is to finish this cursed operation and get out of Venezuela alive. Hopefully, she won’t have to do it alone.
Praise for this book
I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s full passion and has lots of steam. The characters are terrific. It’s full of action and adventure.
I love this duet SO MUCH. The happily ever after was so satisfying, like I needed another reason to be jealous of Theresa. Perfect level of plotline and romantic suspense throughout the book.
R.M. can’t write fast enough to appease me now.
Sorry, girl, but you created one more monster than you meant to with these books.
This was a tough one to put down. I devoured it in one sitting! R.M. McDonald has done a fantastic job of creating a vibrant world that we get dropped in to. We got to know about Theresa, William, and York in the first book, but this book upped the ante on character development. This was the slowest of burns, but the tension amongst our three MCs was delicious. The suspense plot was top-notch and could have been a book all on its own, but I loved the blend of romance and adventure. I'm disappointed this particular story is over, but I am looking forward to reading more work by the author!
This book was AMAZING just like book one. I couldn't put it down. Tripoli is feisty as ever and York and William compliment her perfectly. I look forward to reading more of R.M’s books in the future 😁.
Well…. That was a wild, delicious ride.
This was the perfect mic drop ending to the duet satisfying, emotional, and just the right amount of chaos to keep me flipping pages like my Kindle was on fire!!! The spice? Girl!!, we’re talking chef’s kiss levels. Just enough heat to make you fan yourself, but woven so well into the story that it never feels gratuitous.
The characters? I’m in love. With all of them. No, seriously each one felt layered, real, and maddeningly lovable. By the end, I was equally invested in their happiness and their questionable life choice's! And that emotional payoff! Totally worth the wait.
If you read book one, you need this conclusion. If you haven’t started the duet yet…what are you even doing?
